The 6th Album "The Horror and the Metal"
Moshoholics, ALL SYSTEMS GO, READY TO EXPLODE! Our new album "The Horror and the Metal" will be released via Despotz Records on February 9, 2024 via Despotz Records on LP, CD and Digital.
The album cover for "The Horror and the Metal" is a very special one. What’s so special about it is that it’s made by our old friend Fredrik Tjernström, who today is a very accomplished illustrator, but he’s also the artist who did our first two album covers back in 1999 and 2005 when we all had our humble beginnings.
The cover takes inspiration from the works of Basil Gogos and if you’ve ever seen the old covers of Famous Monsters of Filmland magazines you’ve seen Basil’s work. We’re very proud of this album cover and it was so cool to be able to work with Fredrik again. Check out more of his work here @tjernstromfredrik.
Coinciding with this, our new title-track single has just been unleashed upon you this fine crisp morning. May your Friday the 13th be filled with both horror and metal.
